Essential oils can be used as an alternative treatment for a variety of problems - and if looking for a specific problem area please use our search page to find relevant information.

Athlete's foot is one of the most common fungal infections. Symptoms begin with small water-filled blisters that soon become moist inflamed patches that burn and itch.
The disease is as annoying as it is persistent. This disease is highly contagious and flourishes in a damp moist environment.
Poor hygiene and sweaty feet produce an environment favorable for the fungus to grow in. Socks and shoes of synthetic materials hinder the circulation of air and tend to promote dampness.
When going to places where the infection might be picked up, rub the feet before and after with neat Tea Tree oil or Geranium oil.
To treat an infected foot, mix together 10 ml of any carrier oil and 2 drops each of Wheat germ oil, Tea Tree oil and Geranium oil and rub in between the toes and around the nails every day.
To help with abdominal pain, a massage oil can be mixed as follows:
Mix together and gently massage the stomach area in a clockwise motion.
If the pain persists, and is accompanied by diarrhea, vomiting, fever or headaches, medical advice should be sought.
If you have any medical conditions contact your licensed medical practitioner. The remedies above are for information proposes only, and should not be taken or construed as medical advice. |
