Diarrhea is a signal that something is wrong with the system. If accompanied by a fever then this is an indication that the mucus membranes are inflamed.
Other symptoms can include intense thirst, cramping, and dehydration. Diarrhea is a natural reaction of the bowels to rid the body of toxins, infections and other unwanted substances.
Other causes can be attributed to spicy food, unclean water, eating too fast, unripe fruit, undigested vegetables, eating too much heavy and creamy food and eating too many kinds of foods.
Diarrhea cause dehydration and is very serious for babies and old people. Drink plenty of water and avoid food like fresh fruits, bran, dry biscuits and dairy produce for a few days.
Ginger tea is good for cramps and abdominal pains. Food with a lot of starch, like white rice, especially pudding rice, can help stop diarrhea.
A massage oil with essential oils, rubbed over the abdomen area can also assist with this problem.
